Wisconsin Ecology Spring Symposium

David Jablonski will give a talk titled "The evolutionary role of mass extinctions: Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide." Following the talk there will be a poster session and reception. David Jablonski is a professor at the University of Chicago. He is a paleontologist who studies macroevolution, which takes place above the species level and encompasses large-scale patterns of evolution, mass extinction, diversification and the origin of evolutionary breakthroughs.
