Description
The 175-voice Choral Union and 85-piece Symphony perform Verdi's dramatic masterpiece under the direction of Beverly Taylor. Leaving their usual performing venue on campus, the choir and orchestra are thrilled to perform in the beautiful and spacious ambience of Overture Hall. The soloists are soprano Shannon Prickett, mezzo-soprano Marion Dry, tenor Aldo Perrelli and bass Tony Dillon. The orchestra sound is enhanced with antiphonal trumpets positioned in balconies in the hall.
