Bilingual and Multicultural Education in Guatemala: Opportunities and Challenges

Maria del Carmen Tuy Tococh is a professional educator on Mayan culture. She works to promote bilingual education, and provides evaluation of textbooks and specialized training of bilingual teachers. She has been an assistant to the Center of Studies of Mayan Culture, a radio host, consultant, researcher and coordinator of Mayan Cultural studies.
