Data has become the dark matter of academic life. Data Visualization gives researchers in sciences, social sciences, and even the humanities, a chance to make their data not only tell a story but to clearly show it as well. Health Sciences Librarian Allan Barclay and Engineering Librarian Ryan Schryver will talk about how data visualization is being used today, how visualization can be made to help the research process, and how researchers new to this visual world can get started.
