The U.S. Census Bureau provides a wealth of data on demographics, housing and the economy. Get an overview of the topics, geographic levels and time periods on which the census provides data, and some of the main online sources for this data. Learn about American FactFinder and Social Explorer, two of the main tools for retrieving this data. Students working with large data sets should consult DISC. Registration recommended. Please register with the GSC.
