Film screening and lecture on Cherán, Michoacán: Self-Determination and Self-Defense

Guest lecturer and filmmaker Simón Sedillo will be screening his documentary "Rhonda Comunitaria y Guardabosques" (Community "Ronda" and Forest Defense) and leading a discussion about the struggles of the community of Cherán, Michoacán, Mexico to protect their forests from the illegal activities of the logging industry.
