This lecture by Columbia doctoral student Zaheer Ali is intended to serve as an explanation of Malcolm X's international revolutionary legacy in relation to both his faith and his race. The struggle of blacks and Muslims, although perceived to be distinct, are similarly aligned and overlap greatly. This lecture is part of the MSA's annual Islam Appreciation Month.
