Description
A panel discussion with Michael Thornton, professor of Afro-American Studies, and Damon Williams, Chief Diversity Officer at UW-Madison, as well as student panelists formerly from Germantown Friends School, the school featured in the documentary "The Prep School Negro." Panelists will discuss their perspectives on how students negotiate the spaces between their own racial contexts and the contexts of privilege in their prep school experiences.
