Description
April S. Brown, Duke University. Plasmonic metal nanoparticles are increasingly of interest for modifying light-matter interactions and improving the performance of numerous classes of devices including sensors, light emitters and detectors, and photovoltaics. Au and Ag have been extensively studied for visible/IR plasmonic applications. Our work demonstrates new plasmonic nanoparticle materials and ensembles with optical properties that extend plasmonic enhancements into the UV
