Description
Steven Zelditch, Northwestern University: Eigenfunctions of the Laplacian (or Schrodinger operators) arise
as stationary states in quantum mechanics. They are not apriori geometric objects but we would like to relate the nodal (zero) sets and Lp norms of eigenfunctions to the geometry of geometrics. I will explain what is known (and unknown) and norms and nodal sets of eigenfunctions.
