Chaos and Complex Systems Seminar

Jerry Tutsch, UW Department of Computer Sciences, will discuss complexity arising in the creation and use of computer programs, illustrating it with a program designed to help students visualize the complexity and chaos that emerge when small nonlinear dynamical systems, in the form of differential equations and iterative maps, evolve in time.
