Description
Charlotte Hill O’Neal, aka Mama C, is co-founder of the United African Alliance Community Center in Tanzania. A musician, poet and visual artist who believes in the power of arts activism, she is both an elder adviser and very active participant in the Tanzania hip-hop community. Reminiscent of the energy of Black Panther Party community activism back in the day, Mama C encourages youth to use hip-hop to bring a positive change to communities worldwide.
