Description
Tom Eggert, a ’95 alum, will discuss his work leading Wisconsin Microfinance, a non-profit he founded to help individuals in Haiti recover from the devastating 2010 earthquake. With billions of dollars given to Haiti since 2010, the aid has produced some predictable, but unwanted impacts. Tom will discuss the potential to help the developing world by using the power of the private sector and helping people with microloans.
