Description
This program will explore the biological understanding of the commonly identified features of addiction - genetic vulnerability, salience, reward withdrawal, relapse - and apply these concepts to various behavioral addictions. We will look at treatment strategies and results across the gamut of compulsive behavior and discuss diagnostic changes in the DSM-5.
