Description
The Symposium is coordinated by the Blood Research Program, and the Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine Center, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the BTC Institute. It brings together leading researchers who are investigating how stem cells that give rise to blood develop and function, and how analyzing their mechanisms yields principles of stem/progenitor cell biology, as well as insights into diseases such as cancer.
