Description
Authors Jennifer Thompson and Ronald Cotton join UW Law School faculty to discuss victims in the criminal justice system, particularly those that have been wrongfully convicted. Their New-York Times bestseller, "Picking Cotton: A Victim's Perspective on Wrongful Convictions," describes how Thompson wrongly identified her rapist in 1984 which resulted in Cotton spending 11 years in prison before DNA evidence cleared him of the crime.
