Wider adoption of new consumer-oriented energy technologies such as rooftop solar, electric vehicles, and home-energy management systems could fundamentally alter how our electricity system functions. Our speaker will present findings from an agent-based simulation framework that integrates GIS, social networks, and behavioral theories to study the complex, emergent process of energy technology adoption.
