There is a paradox in Liberal Arts Job Market today. On one hand, an academic is expected to be young, interesting and full of potential. On the other, he/she is also expected to be a fully grown professional entrepreneur: someone who will bring money with the fancy research and grants, also work in community, and have substantial research activity and teaching experience outside of his/her area of interest
