Description
Armando Muyolema. The last Ecuadorian Constitution approved in referendum in 2008 is probably the most advanced legal frame in the region in supporting the indigenous collective rights, their cultures and languages. Two key concepts were introduced in the new political and legal order with which the indigenous historical struggles in the country were honored: Interculturality and sumak kawsay (good living).
