Description
Emerging singers explore the repertoire of Handel & compete for cash prizes. Contestants perform for an audience and judges from Early Music Festival-- the audience chooses a favorite! 7:30 pm, Music Hall. Pre-concert lecture: 6:30 p.m.; 2650, Humanities. "The Handel Aria 101," by John Barker, prof. emeritus, UW-Madison.
