Mark Hetzler, trombone; Martha Fischer, piano: Faculty Recital

Trombonist Mark Hetzler and pianist Martha Fischer have collaborated on a number of musical projects, including the album American Voices II, of which American Record Guide writes, “Hetzler is so good...He handles the huge register leaps and quiet high notes with aplomb...one of the world's great trombone players, and pianist Martha Fisher is on equal footing…” This concert will present Hetzler and Fischer at their most captivating, music by Filas, Torke, and Jan Bach.
