Description
The workshop objective is to critically assess how the idea of “Indigenous peoples” is being variously conceptualized and applied by different organizations and governments in SE Asia. Participants will include scholars from the region, and others from the U.S. with a particular interest in indigeneity in SE Asia and Indigenous peoples more generally. The workshop is by invitation only. However, those not initially invited, including students, can request special permission to participate.
