Community Debate on the Necessity of Dane County Jail Renovations

Professors Karma R. Chávez and Sara L. McKinnon (Department of Communication Arts) are hosting a community debate of the following proposition: "Renovations to the Dane County Jail are necessary to ensure the safety of vulnerable people in our community." The debate will feature Sheriff David Mahoney and Dr. Doug Kramer (Professor Emeritus, UW Schoool of Medicine) on the affirmative side and M. Adams of Young Gifted and Black and Nino Rodriguez of MOSES on the negative side.
