Delta Roundtable

UW-Madison is working to develop a data-driven “early-warning” system that can be used to identify at-risk learners. Analysis of course management systems, notes by advisors, and information from other sources has the potential to create models that link student behavior and successful student learning. By using this information, the campus will be able to intervene earlier with students, potentially improve students’ academic success, and bolster retention and graduation rates.
