Photo Forensics

Hosted by the McPherson Eye Research Institute, Professor Hany Farid (Computer Science, Dartmouth College) will discuss perceptual and computational aspects related to determining if a photo is real or false. He will provide an overview of the field of photo forensics and will describe case studies of the application of these techniques to detect photo manipulation, helping to return some trust in photography.
