Steve Charmichael, Saxophone

Mr. Carmichael, a candidate for the DMA in Saxophone Performance, will perform a recital of works for Classical Saxophone. Works performed will be Swiss composer Frank Martin’s beautiful Ballade for Alto Saxophone and Piano, Lachrymae for Soprano Saxophone and Viola by Armenian composer Tigran Mansurian, Elliot Carter’s Pastoral, and Gustav Mahler’s Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen,transcribed for Saxophone and Piano.
