Civil Rights in the Digital Age

The symposium explores the intersection between law, technology, and civil rights. Particularly, what are "cyber civil rights" and how are they being threatened? Topics include the legal response to gender-based online harassment including; revenge porn, existing legal remedies and recent state legislative reform, and the status of civil rights and free speech on the Internet.
