Genocide Awareness Screening and Post-Film Discussion

In honor of April’s Genocide Awareness Month, Amnesty International-UW presents German documentary film "AGHET: A Genocide." This film depicts the killing of 1.5 million Armenians from 1915-1923 and discusses international denial. The screening will be followed by a time of dialogue and discussion facilitated by University of Wisconsin-Madison Political Science Professor Scott Straus, a specialist in the study of genocide, political violence, human rights and African politics.
