Description
Dr. Greg Nowacki grew up in Wisconsin’s Northwoods. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Forestry and Natural Resources at UW-Stevens Point and a Ph.D. in Forestry at Penn State University. Greg’s graduate studies were keenly focused on oak ecology, relating changes in oak abundance to land-use and fire. Greg serves as the Regional Ecologist for the USDA Forest Service Eastern Region in Milwaukee, WI.
