Police Body Camera Forum

The UW-Madison Police Department is currently exploring the use of body cameras with our officers. We have been testing one body camera on various officers for the past year — through a grant, we now have more cameras which we’re looking to issue to more UWPD officers. As we work to implement those additional body cameras, we’re seeking the public’s input. We want to hear all of your questions, concerns, and feedback as we form a department policy on the use of police body cameras.
