In his address, “A History of the USA Freedom Act,” Congressman Sensenbrenner (UW Law, 1968) will draw on his first-hand knowledge of the legislation enacted earlier this year. It also restores several expired provisions of the Patriot Act, an anti-terrorism law passed after the 9/11 attacks. Sensenbrenner introduced both statutes in the U.S. House of Representatives.
