Description
Many Americans, volunteer regularly to help with food drives or cook in soup kitchens. This work feels good and is important, but these are inevitably emergency measures. The need for them highlights widespread failure of our society to support food security. Robin Mittenthal does advising and leads field courses for UW's Certificate in Global Health but is also a farmer, a former agricultural researcher, and nutritionist. Join Robin to get some context on food security in Wisconsin.
