University-Based Child Development Laboratory Schools: A Vision for the Future

For 26 years Dr. McBride has been actively engaged in working with investigators from variety of disciplines on UIUC campus as they explore protocols & approaches for studying children’s development in context of classroom environments & lab settings. He has been actively engaged in professional development of 2,000 preservice & inservice early childhood teachers as they translate theoretical & empirical knowledge to actual practice in working with children & families in classroom environments.
