Comprehensive Sexual History in Spanish –Language and Cultural Considerations

Latinx/e cultural values and beliefs are important determinants of sexual behavior, for patients with HIV or at risk for acquiring HIV. This training will educate clinical staff on best practices for obtaining an informed and comprehensive sexual history from their patients using Spanish. The goal of this training is to provide clinicians the language, skills, and knowledge necessary to positively promote
sexual health and wellness while being a stellar, sex-positive clinician.
