Dr. Ye will discuss approaches to addressing two fundamental challenges of a platform trial, which is an innovative clinical trial design that uses a master protocol to evaluate multiple treatments in an ongoing manner. The flexibility poses two fundamental inferential challenges: the precise definition of treatment effects and the robust and efficient inference on those effects. She will present how the proposed estimators empirically evaluated and are illustrated using the SIMPLIFY trial.
