In this brown bag conversation, we will consider generative AI in relation to writing and the teaching of writing. We will discuss the ethics of AI, particularly bias inherent in algorithms; how AI might enhance or detract from the writing process; and how to develop policies around AI. We will also explore sample writing assignments that make use of generative AI.
