So much of academic work is text-based and uniplanar. Yet, images and visualization offer another pathway of discovery, problem-solving, and communication. At this mini-workshop featuring UW-Madison’s DesignLab, you will first learn basic principles of graphic design and data visualization, before creating a simple visual that represents a research problem, idea, or concept of your choice.
