Join us for a presentation on crafting effective cover letters for the academic job market. We will discuss the purpose and structure of the academic cover letter, how to tailor your letter for different institution types, and what search committees look for in a strong application narrative. Participants will learn how to align their experiences with position requirements, highlight their scholarly and teaching identities, and avoid common cover letter pitfalls.
