What are the basics of how milk is harvested on a farm through normal cow lactation so that it can end up ready for the consumer on the supermarket shelf? What are the main differences between the dairy production system in Australia and the North American (Wisconsin) system? The final thread of the talk is a brief exploration of the UW’s 26-year-old program of milk-harvesting research.
