Description
The talk will outline the geologic history of Wisconsin and how geology affected settlement and development. Ken will introduce some of Wisconsin’s outstanding geological sites and features such as Devil’s Lake, Van Hise Rock, the Niagara Escarpment, and the Kettle Moraine. Finally he'll talk about the work of the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey, and how we study Wisconsin’s geology and groundwater to address current and future needs of the State.
