Beginning Etching: Drypoint

An introduction to intaglio etching: learn the process of dry point by incising an image into a solid material and using the upraised burrs to create a design. We will cover the process from beginning to end including how to compose your image, preparing the plexiglass plate, and making prints with safe inks. Create fine art prints, hand printed note cards, stationary and more. Course fee includes all supplies and you keep your plate.
