Daily Values: Landscapes of Food Memories

Join WUD Art and WUD Cuisine at Wheelhouse Studios on Saturday, March 17th from 5-7pm for a fun afternoon of creating and sharing, and be a part of a collaborative exhibition to be shown in the Class of 1925 Gallery! Daily Values: Landscapes of Food Memories is a free, public event at Wheelhouse Studios (lower-level in Memorial Union) hosted in collaboration between WUD Art and Cuisine. This event will celebrate the distinct, personal, and unique memories of food close to you, and visualizing these memories through art. Come join us at this free creative event and make art out of these food memories - no artistic experience required, just you, your friends, and your willingness to respond to prompts around fo od memories and associations. We will provide the art supplies needed to put these illustrated memories down on paper. You can also have your art be a part of an actual exhibition! WUD Art will be taking the created pieces from this event and installing them in the Class of 1925 Gallery two floors up. We hope to see an awesome variety of fun and insightful pieces of art that will make up this delicious collaboration! This exhibition following the Daily Values Wheelhouse event will be up for the public to view from March 18th through April 6th. There will be a closing reception on April 6th from 6-8pm. If you can, bring along canned or unopened packaged food items, as we will be donating them to a Dane County food pantry. See you at Daily Values!
