Description
A panel hosted by the Alpha Pi Omega Sorority featuring Native American UW-Madison Alumni to speak about the representation of Native Americans on campus, challenges specific to Indigenous people when attending colleges/universities, and racial sensitivity/campus climate. There will also be opportunities to discuss and share experiences. Panel participants are Gary Besaw (Menominee), Tribal Legislator, and Dr. Sasanehsaeh Pyawasay, (Menominee) and Prof. Richard Monette (Turtle Mountain) of UW.
