Description
Dr. Bonham is the national laboratory lead for newborn screening in the UK. Up until 2015 he was the
Laboratory Director of Newborn Screening at Sheffield Children's Hospital in
northern England and he was recently elected as the President of the International
Society of NeNewborn Screening. He has particular interest in the quality of newborn
screening as it impacts on operational practice and initiatives leading to an improved
parental/family based understanding of screening results.
