Description
How do plant species adapt to changing climates and how can we help them? Some of the best examples come from the end of the last ice age, when the world warmed by 5-10F and many species shifted their ranges by hundreds of miles. The study of past ecosystems is quickly moving into the realm of big data, with thousands of individual records and millions of data points. Here, Professor Williams will review how we study past climates and ecosystems and insights for today.
