Promote a more transparent and inclusive learning environment by using several different means to reach students. This session will consider a variety of communication strategies instructors can use to provide students with ample opportunity to ask questions, receive answers, and obtain feedback and guidance.

In this session, you will:  

  1. Design communication plans and rhythm for your courses to maintain an active presence within the course.
  2. State your expectations for student-instructor communication so students understand when and how to contact you for different kinds of questions.
  3. Reflect on and apply lessons learned from remote instruction.
