Description

In order to perform well, students need to understand how they will be evaluated. By explaining how they will be graded and receive feedback, you can help students understand how they can learn from and build on each assessment. This session will challenge instructors to look at assessments from the student perspective to make expectations transparent.

In this session, you will:

  1. Explore tools and strategies to help provide clear expectations and frequent feedback.
  2. Develop a plan to explain your expectations and how you will evaluate and provide feedback on submitted work.
  3. Reflect on and apply lessons learned from remote instruction.

Review resources prior to the session.
