Description
The talk will outline recent scientific evidence supporting lifestyle behaviors as a means of reducing risk of the development of cognitive symptoms and Alzheimer's disease. An overview of cognition and normal aging is followed by an explanation of Alzheimer's disease. Scientific studies, many of which were done at UW, will then be discussed illustrating the impact of these behaviors on cognition and/or the Alzheimer's disease pathology itself.
