Description
Madison recently launched a Guaranteed Income pilot study that will give 155 families $500 a month for one year with "no strings attached". The initiative is part of a nationwide collaboration of mayors advocating for an income floor. This idea has roots (and routes) that extend well beyond the US, so what can we learn from similar movements in other parts of the world? In this conversation, we will hear from scholars who have been studying basic income politics in Australia and South Korea.
