Join the Machine Learning Community on Tuesday, March 7th, 12-1pm, to learn about and discuss a variety of ML-related approaches to analyzing text data — specifically news articles and tweets. Those with experience working with text-analysis pipelines are especially encouraged to join the discussion!  Presenters include:

  1. Using transformers and graph ML to study Twitter users’ beliefs about COVID-19 vaccination — Sean Yun-Shiuan Chuang
  2. Using text analysis to examine news from post-coup Myanmar —Khine Thant Su

Where: Orchard View Room (rm. 3280), 3rd floor Discovery Building. To get to the third floor, take the elevator located next to the Aldo’s Cafe kitchen (see photo). If you cannot attend in-person, we invite you to stream the event via Zoom:
